Double-Coated and Adhesive Transfer Tapes
Double-Coated Polyester Tape
Double-Coated polyester tapes are the right choice for a wide range of applications. They are available with rubber and acrylic adhesives for use on almost any surface. Several versions can handle temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit on a continuous basis. Many also exhibit superior UV resistance. We can cut these tapes to any width or they can be die-cut into just about any shape to speed your production or for inclusion in kits.
Double-Coated Foam Tape
Double-Coated foam tapes offer superior adhesion on a thicker foam base. These are the perfect material for eliminating gaps between uneven surfaces. They are widely used in the display, sign and window industries. They are available with rubber and acrylic adhesives for use on almost any surface. New, high performance acrylic foam tapes can be used in place of mechanical fasteners in many applications. Removable/repositionable adhesives are also available. We can cut these tapes to any width or they can be die-cut into just about any shape to speed your production or for inclusion in kits.
Double-Coated Paper Tape
Double-Coated paper tapes are perfect for general purpose, light duty bonding. They are hand-tearable which makes them perfect for inclusion in kits. Specially formulated double-coated paper is used for holding golf grips onto the shafts of the clubs. They are available in standard or soap & water activated. These tapes can be easily made into short length rolls, narrow widths or die-cut pieces to speed your production.
Double-Coated Cloth Tape
Double-Coated cloth tapes are generally used for installation of carpeting but other versions are available for high temperature or electrical applications such as heating coils, heat sinks and power supplies. They come with a range of adhesive including rubber, acrylic and silicone. Flame retardant versions are available for use in aerospace applications.
Double-Coated Vinyl Tape
White vinyl substrate with high performance acrylic adhesive on both sides. Makes a very permanent bond on most metal, plastic and wood surfaces. Has excellent resistance to oils, most plasticizers and UV light. Thicker construction works well on irregular surfaces. Excellent temperature range and good adhesion to a wide range of surfaces make this an ideal tape when you need something stronger. Comes with a gold paper liner standard. Applications include : self-adhesive extrusions, arts & crafts, metals bonding.
The use of heat and pressure will help increase the initial bond of the product. Adhesion may build by 50% during the first 24 hours depending on surfaces, heat and pressure, etc.
